Bequest Growth Partners
For owners building their next chapter
You’ve built something worth preserving. We help you improve how it runs today, build more transferable value, and prepare for the day you’re ready to step back.
01 — What we work on
Good businesses can lose time, margin, and momentum in ordinary processes. We focus on the constraints that matter, using technology where it earns its place.
Clearer processes, accessible knowledge, and practical automation help your team handle more of the work with confidence.
Improve follow-up, handoffs, and financial visibility. Understand working-capital needs and prepare for financing conversations where appropriate.
Build more consistent reporting, documented processes, and a business that is easier for someone else to understand and operate.
02 — The engagement
We begin with the business, choose one manageable improvement, and agree on how success will be measured.
A focused diagnostic connects your goals with the workflow, financial baseline, and operating issue that deserves attention first.
Implement a defined solution, test it with your team, and document how it works. AI supports the process; people remain accountable.
Track adoption, costs, and verified improvements. Where attribution is clear, compensation can include a performance-based component.
03 — Our perspective
Founded by Kevin Cadette and based in Florida, Bequest brings together experience in technical consulting, software architecture, and helping businesses navigate the search for capital. Kevin’s background includes leading an angel investment group and prior work as a registered representative at a broker-dealer.
The work is grounded in a simple question: what would make this a stronger, more resilient business for the owner and the people who depend on it?
“Your next chapter should begin with more options.”
Built for the long term
Applied to real operating problems, and only where it earns its place.
Every engagement starts with a clear baseline and an agreed definition of success.
The work is built around the owner’s goals, the company’s resilience, and the people who depend on it.
04 — A few things worth knowing
No. The best time to strengthen the business is often two to five years before a possible transition, while you still have room to create choices.
No. Engagements begin with a defined consulting scope. Where results can be clearly attributed, compensation may include a capped performance component.
Any future investment or purchase interest would be disclosed, handled separately, and paired with independent valuation and counsel.
No. Technology is used only when it improves the real operating constraint. The business need comes first.
No. Bequest prepares businesses for stronger conversations and better options, but financing and transaction outcomes are not guaranteed.
Begin
Consider the process that takes too much of your time, the growth that feels harder than it should, or the role you’d like to have in three years. That’s where the work begins.
